Love this concept and I hope you can fix the broken roof of the pop up to make this an actual functioning creation. Also, extended side decking so you can walk around and enter the pop-up correctly. Throw in a small propane grill and nice Eco-Flow or other battery bank and you are set for some floating fishing adventures.

you need a smaller popup, that can fit sideways on the back of the pontoon with the beds hanging out over the water. Which would allow you to have the whole front for helm, fish deck, and cook space. If you find the right one, might even have an awning that would hang over the helm.

On those slide outs, there's small bars that go from the slide to the frame to keep the sliders from bowing, and it will also remove a bit of bounce when turning over.

to increase the floatation in the front (might not work very well) you can get some large storage bins, and mount them after sealing them off, might give a few hundred more pounds of flotation, please take this into consideration.

Put grab rails on the roof for getting around the sides A lot of cabin cruisers etc have narrow walk-around decks and have them for holding on. Ideally she'd be trimmed further aft, but it is what it is.

You could replace the bottom of the pull-out with ridged foam covered with fiberglass . A piece of dock foam or 1/3 length pontoon under the middle of the bow would be advisable. You could make a pontoon out of blue plastic barrel. Or one 55 gallon drum with a piece angled up for a bow . Even half a drum (old BBQ grill ?) .

I don't know. I love the idea and the enthusiasm, but maybe you should remove the front pull up bed, or make it smaller. Also, maybe try to move the center console, and the camper, more to the back. This way you'd have better weight distribution and more space to fish from the front deck. The third pontoon idea is also very valid, can never be too safe with these things. What if you get a storm overnight?

Ya had me with the thumbnail!! 😂😂. I was hoping it was going to look a “little” better inside, but it’s basically all there. A little epoxy and fibreglass (you are the master of fibreglass now, are you not?) and a bit of aluminum bracing and that roof is as good as new!! Some aluminum frame for the door and a plywood panel covering the one hole in the side and it’s bug proof and everything!!! If it were me, I might be shopping for a 3rd pontoon,,,,,, just to help. You are not going to be able to get going with the bigger motor as the fins to elevate the boat will be under the slightest wave!! 😂😂😂😂 oops,,,. Haha. Still think this is your biggest success in the water except for the inflatable houseboat!! That thing is amazing!! Expensive as hell, but amazing!

This is awesome. I was so excited when I saw the thumbnail for this. I think taking the axel, tongue and all the extra insides you could have left the stove and sink. You can always repurpose the stove and sink but build a lighter frame for it and keep it by the center console for some outdoor grilling.

I think you are on to something here! This might be the next big thing in pontoon campboats.

Great project. Definitely need to camp in that thing. Could replace mattress with air mattress to reduce more weight.

Smaller camper, maybe the 8 ft. box would have been perfect. Great idea, perfect river machine.

Ayo I've been kinda binge watching you man. As soon as I move to South Texas in October I'm getting a pontoon boat. Been debating on how to set her up. Also, watching you develop your personality in front of the camera has been cool. As you grow stay humble and praise Jesus brother.

If you make an adapter to hook up from the drain plug to an air compressor you can pressurize the pontoon and spray soapy water and find your leaks

You can also drain the water from the pontoons while afloat with an air compressor

Great build, love the idea, becareful though believe it or not the door plays a role in the roof not slamming down if the lift system fails.

I feel like this one is a bit more cramped then others we have seen recently. It’s kinda deal breaker when road mode is a no go.

This might be the greatest invention you have ever done. I have a pop up camper.

You should look for a 6 or 8 foot box popup that's a little narrower. That way you have some boat space left. You could actually mount it sideways and have the beds hang off the sides of the boat.

Easy way to check for leaks is to put about 15psi of air into your bung hole & use soapy water to check for bubbles 👍...love your videos dude, much respect from Zimbabwe 🇿🇼🇿🇼🇿🇼

2:40 I've been working on a sailboat where the elderly woman that sold it to me said they sailed it for years without issue. I found a drain plug that someone had roughly installed in the keel fin, unscrewed it, and water came gushing out like that. Hoping it was rainwater from the many weird holes the previous owner drilled and not water that was leaking into the keel, only way to know is to take it out again
