Tim Tebow was the face of football throughout his time in college and the NFL. No matter what he was doing, people tuned into watch. Through his actions on and off the field, he became the most polarizing player in the history of football.

You could start something like Markiplier. You can become a member (you have to pay a small fee every month or just at the start) and the members get a extra video every so often or something like that. I would pay for that

He didn’t have time to understand the nfl he was thrown into it too fast..he was ahead of himself and it wasn’t his fault..he wanted to win at end of day and he had a great heart.there organization was screwed and they used Tebow to cover up shit so people didn’t get fired and more.they just needed him to get over that hump not realizing he wasn’t ready for this

I never liked Tebow to begin with. He had little physical football tallent and once he got national focus on him, he let it go to his head. He used his 15 minutes of fame to proselytize- I don't have a problem with that. I have a problem with his hypocracy. Whenever the season was going well, it was all about him. Once the season started falling apart, he would make it clear that the TEAM needed to refocus. It wasn't "how can I improve," it was "everyone else needs to get better." The bible teaches humility, respect, and to improve oneself, but that's something I suppose he never learned.
Definitely an Urban Meyer student-it's all about you until you hit a slump.

Tebow was only in his second year. Only HOF QBs come out in the 2nd year and fire on all cylinders. He needed work. He needed training. Even Eli and Ben improved as time went on. Yes, Ben was 15-1 but any Steelers fan will tell you, the defense and bus helped. They eventually emerge. It just takes time. Tebow was never given time.

What jesus H. Tebow became, Sarah who made this fact-challenged, lying video "for no money", was an ego-maniac who refused to change his fullback passing motion in college, because this fullback can't pass any other way and can't be successful as a fullback playing out of position at Florida without tricks and tons of motion, so when he went to the NFL where every player is as good or better than Florida's players he sucked almost as bad as any of the worst QB's in NFL history. When you're playing Tennessee, Vandy and Kentucky or even Alabama and Georgia sometimes this fullback playing out of position can win you games at QB but only in this specific offense with tons of things built in to protect his fullback passing arm and with 9 or 10 better athletes than the opponents at every other position plus coaching carrying him. What his NFL career proved is he wasn't good in college either. He was simply another in a long line of bad QB's drafted from Florida that were exposed as total frauds once they were actually playing football instead of running a gimmick system with superior athletes and superior coaching carrying them over inferior athletes and whatever shitty coaches that were about to get fired at those other schools were doing with their barely better than high school teams.

Again, jesus H. Tebow was never good, no matter if he had won 50 Heisman trophies. He was a fullback playing out of position as his under 50% career passing in the NFL proved it. You can't have been good in college and fail to complete 50% of your passes against NFL players. Claiming otherwise is using Charles Manson "logic" to defend "your" Florida Gator hero. Pretending guys only become bad QB's in the pros is beyond insane if they're as bad as jesus H. Tebow, Brady Quinn, Matt Leinart, etc. etc. were in the NFL. Tim Couch was a better QB than jesus H. Tebow. That's a fact proven by their NFL careers. Not opinion but fact. If Couch had better NFL stats than this fullback then Couch was better at Kentucky too despite no titles or Heismans. You lunatics who give team achievements, like the Heisman, and team records credit to the QB and nobody else know less than zero about sports.

The thing that cost Tebow his career was the refusal to admit he was a running back.
Tebow should have made the switch to halfback and run for some 1200+ yd. seasons. That would have been a great career.
If you watch films of Tebow running, you can tell he ran with a vengeance.

I think that religion and politics should stay as far away from the field as possible. This is why I commend players like Tom Brady, because he never tries to grab the media’s attention through his political or religious views... He plays Football, tries to win, gets a ring, and comes back home. Every player should aspire to be more like Tom Brady in regards to his attitude off the field.

People don’t like a “holier than thou” personality; but that was a misconception about Tebow. He is a genuinely good person and continues to devote his time to helping others. Unlike politicians and most religious leaders, Tebow lives his faith.

    • GenralMajors
      GenralMajors 9 dni temu

When they were winning, the victory was ALL about him. But as soon as the season turned south, all of a sudden it was the team's fault, not his.
Combined with his bad play and apparent inability to improve no matter how hard he worked and the media circus that followed him wherever he went, no coach or GM wanted to bother with the mess.

    • Jason O'Daniel
      Jason O'Daniel 11 dni temu +1

He is genuinely good, like how his first commercial told women to never abort their babies even if they were sure to die because his mother Mary didn't abort him, jesus H. Tebow, despite being told she'd die and every pregnancy where the mother might die, yeah she for sure won't die, because the virgin Mary didn't die giving birth to our new lord and savior jesus H. Tebow in that manger he was born in. That's like a guy totaling his car while not wearing his seatbelt walking away without a scratch and then telling everybody seatbelts are worthless. There's very little that's "good" about this ego-maniac and mental midget. Kill yourself. Not joking.

As a die hard Jets fan, I tried to like him. Really did. He just wouldn’t accept that he was not a good NFL QB. Repeat...NFL QB. He was too stubborn to attempt a position switch (which was both suggested and offered) saying he didn’t wanna play football if he couldn’t be a QB. As a football YT, u know there are more than enough stories about players changing or being forced to change positions better suited to their set of skills. Yes, its not common. Yes, it’s a big risk. Yes, its difficult to learn. Yes, u gotta put in twice the work cuz u’re so far behind on a position that u gotta play catch-up. But YES, it has been done and been done successfully. Tbh, he coulda been a successful TE. Lastly, after his recent comments/opinion about the NCAA not paying players...no. Don’t agree. This isn’t just an opinion based discussion. It’s one of right and wrong and the NCAA is DEAD AZZ wrong!!! I just can’t cosign this dude!

Honestly, I wish Jacksonville had given him a shot when he got cut from the jets. While he wasn't the best quarterback, he would've sold that arena out every week, as many mega-churches as there are in that area. That increase in revenue could have helped them to get better players.

The real reason they didn’t let Tim Tebow play or give Tebow a shot to play is because Tebow played with a lot of emotion and they were scared his emotion will get him hurt

  • Jeff Locke
    Jeff Locke Miesiąc temu

Josh McDaniels knew what he was doing when he signed Tebow. McDaniels was, and still is, a Belichick sycophant. He was in the perfect position to destroy a team that posed a realistic threat to the Patriots. He threw away Jay Cutler and Demaryius Thomas, signed a QB that cost a ton of money but would never fit in or produce, and set an entire organization back 4 years by exploding the salary cap. If I ever meet him face to face, he won't have a face left...

    • Jens Petersen
      Jens Petersen Miesiąc temu

Sorry but that is such an idiotic claim! Bad Jay played as many games for the Broncos as Good Jay did, and if McDaniels had not cleaned up after Shanahan's failures in building a competitive team. Without McDaniels we would not have had the 2011 season and we would not have had Manning, but that little twat to Jay Cutler.
Maybe you should read Kiszla's article www.google.dk/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=23&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=2ahUKEwiW3bXOp9vkAhVjtIsKHb7BCSIQFjAWegQIABAB&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.denverpost.com%2F2013%2F01%2F27%2Fkiszla-its-time-to-thank-josh-mcdaniels-for-broncos-2010-draft%2F&usg=AOvVaw0v3EUCnphaK2KbKv4HMHov
Jay Cutler was a crappy QB for the Broncos that could never manage win streaks because he was to dumb and arrogant to play within his limitations.
First off McDaniels DRAFTED Demaryius Thomas as his first pick of the 2010 draft

    • Thomas C.
      Thomas C. Miesiąc temu

So you are saying that Josh McDaniels, secretly made that Broncos terrible so that they wouldn't pose a threat to the Patriots?
You know he was just the head coach right? There are other people in the organization that wouldn't let that happen. Like the GM and above all John Elway who oversees all football operations and pretty much is the guy making player signings.
You must he a Broncos fan. I know it sucks that your team has fallen from Grace not long after winning a Superbowl. But you make up this crazy conspiracy theory is not gonna make you feel better. I hate the Patriots too, but I don't think for a second they are sending out coaches to get jobs for the sole purpose of ruining that team so the Patriots remove a threat. The Patriots just are good. They have the best QB to ever play, and a coach that is good at maximizing what a player does well. They find players that will fit the system and not just sign big name stars to make a big off-season splash
